At Shine Pharmaceuticals Limited, we are committed to good health of patients with central nervous system (CNS) related disorders.

“A journey of thousand miles begin with single step” so was with us on 17th day of August, 1994 when Shine Pharmaceuticals Ltd. was incorporated. This step was taken with just 8 products and 5 PSR and now we are one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in India with 650 PSR all over India and more than 200 products. We have started our own manufacturing activities in 1996. Over the years we have expanded our operations in government tender as well as export business apart from domestic ethical sales. We have core business segment in psychiatry and neurology.

Milestones

2018

Participated in International Exhibition of Pharma and Healthcare (iPhex) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India.
Manufacturing site approved by Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Cambodia.

2017

Achieved sales of INR 5 crore in government tender/ Institutional business in financial year 2017-18.

2013

Sales turnover of INR 70 crore in financial year 2013-14.
Field force reached to 650 Pharmaceuticals Sales Representatives in Pan India.

2008

Expansion in domestic operations with launching of new territories and additional field force.

2007

Expansion and updation of manufacturing activities as per latest guidelines of cGMP, adhering strict regulatory norms.

2006

Launched 3 divisions (Glow, Royal & Spark) in domestic market.
First export order executed.

2005

Registered our annual growth of 50% in domestic ethical sales.
Entered into export business of pharmaceutical formulations.

2004

As per ORG report of 2004, few of our brands entered in top 20 of their respective brand segments in India.

Own manufacturing activities started at Vadodara, Gujarat.

Dr. Hiranmay Saha

Chairman

A leading psychiatrist with three decades of vast experience of treating patients, has given tremendous input in identifying the best products which works best with the patients on treatment of their ailments. His exposure to patients and products in fact is solely responsible for deciding the best products on one hand and guiding the sales force of the company on the other hand

Mr. Samir Chakroborty

Managing Director

A man synonymous to step by step progress – started his career with a retail pharmaceutical shop in the year 1974, a pharmaceutical whole sale distribution in the year 1976, a third-party manufacturing in the year 1991, to a pharmaceutical house in the year 1994. He has got vast experience and knowledge of knitty gritties of finished formulation distribution.

Mr. Noel Bhattacharya

Sales Director

A hard core street smart sales man – started his career as a sales representative and with skills of sales he has grown to the position of All India Sales Manager. In the year 1991, he joined hands with Mr. Samir Chakraborty. His vast experience of sales and motivating the sales personnel at all levels, has guided the company to devise right selling strategies and train, guide and motivate the large sales team.

Mr. Pradeep Agrawal

Executive Director

A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary – has got 23 years of experience of working with various corporates. He is associated with the company since foundation and has formally joined the Board of Directors in the year 2003. He is the Executive Director of the company and looks after the Financial, Legal, Commercial, HR, Manufacturing and Export operations of the company.
